So I've been thinking about doing this for some time now, yet just haven't pulled the trigger for fear that you'd all think it was boring reading about what the kids did each day / week / month. Nonetheless, here we all are!!
So Kyle & Emily are growing so fast! At 19 months, they are into EVERYTHING! I'm sure I'll say that a lot! Today they were super polite! They did a lot of double signs today while having some yogurt for breakfast. There were so many "more" "please" and "thank you" that I was just astounded! And there wasn't a single food item thrown on the floor this morning!! What a first!! Well, that only lasted thru breakfast and snack, but hey, it's progress!!
And they were super helpful in making dinner. Stitch, the Movie couldn't divert their attention so they helped cook. Kyle handed me many asparagus and even test-tasted some raw ones, though they quickly ended up on the front of his shirt and the floor. Emily put them right on the tray for roasting. They both put the butter in the potatoes-au-gratin and stirred the water / milk / butter / potato mixture. And for the lamb, Emily was extremely helpful in sprinkling some Herbs au Provence on top of them. Thanks Kyle & Emily!! Tomorrow it's red spaghetti to make together! Or as Daddy calls them, "worms"!
