Here's Emily and Cheese.
And Kyle wanted a picture with him and Miko. Here's Kyle and his Miko.
The kids got new undies the other day. They were so excited that they wanted to wear them the minute they were out of the wash. When I told them they needed to wait until after bath, Kyle took matters into his own hands, or should I say...
Well actually there's more of a story with this... he went potty but instead of facing the potty, he faced outwards to make a mess on the floor and his current shorts and undies... Yea, we were a bit upset, but laughing too hard to be upset when we saw this. He knew what he wanted and took action, even if it wasn't the best behavior...
Kyle and Emily are growing so fast! It's just what kids do, isn't it!
Kyle has a thing for wearing Mommy's shoes
And Emily talking on her Tinkerbell Blackberry. She was having a full on conversation, asking what you were doing, using pauses, waiting for answers. It was quite funny! And she'll even turn the phone on its side to take a picture!!
Kyle & Emily started swim lessons this week and are loving it! They aren't swimming on their own yet, but they are having fun with their teachers and other kids in the class. They love taking a hippo ride (giant kickboard they go on together) and making a noodle train (all have noodles tied around their waists and swim around) and then swimming on their own with their noodles.

The Cubbies are in town!! The kids had a blast at the game last night playing in the park at the park. It was also bring your dog to the game night so there were dogs galore! It was fine and well until Jeff stepped in some dog droppings and the beagle next to us at Kyle's hot dog. But we all recovered and enjoyed the game and got to take in the "Ball Game" song. Tonight we are in the bleachers right at the sand pit so the kids will have even more fun! More pictures to be added after tonight. Gooooooooooo Cubbios!!
From the second game. Our seats were in the bleachers, in the front row so the kids played quite a bit in the sand pit.
Kyle participating in the "Flag Song".
Emily also participating by twirling to the song.
We took the kids to the race track this weekend. Since they had so much fun at Arlington Park, we tried the San Diego, Del Mar race track. And again they did have a blast. It was a great way for the kids to practice their numbers and spend a fun afternoon.

Kyle & Emily loved the bugle player. He came and played a little Miles Davis for the people standing next to us so we got a little extra music!

This past weekend (well, in July... needless to say I am posting this really late because I am only now compressing the awesome pictures that Pete took) was my family reunion in Ohio. We all had a blast! The kids got to ride motorcycles and so did we. Kyle learned how to work the kegorator. Emily rode a tricycle with the help of her great-grandpa!! And we ate LOTS of delicious corn!
