Grandma comes for a visit

Grandma came to visit us in April. It sure was great having her here and hanging out with her.

This is my dad. My guess is he is a few years old than Kyle is now in this picture. Kyle totally has his eyes.

Wisconsin

I had a work trip to Wisconsin on a week that Aaron did not have school so he got to come with me. He has been asking for some time to go on a work trip with me and this time he got his wish. He spent the week with Grandma having the time of his life and getting all the attention while I had meetings and Jeff, Kyle & Emily were back in Utah at work and school.
Aaron and Grandma made me a delicious lunch to take to the office because I knew I didn't have time between meetings to eat. Aaron sweetly decorated my lunch bag for me and Mom made me an excellent sandwich. I feel so loved.

Grandma week

I had to go to Nashville for work this week and my mom came to town to hang out with Kyle, Emily & Aaron while Jeff had long days of work.

I went to the Nashville Parthenon for Emily because she loves her mythology. My coworker told me that parts of the Percy Jackson movie were filmed here so I took a quick lunch break up there to share some pictures with Emily.
Grandma had the kids out and about and enjoying the days together.

Mexico

We all headed down to Mexico to celebrate my mom's birthday. My mom and all my siblings and their families were there for a fun week together.
Kyle got to sit in the front seat with me. Haven't been in a 3 across the front seat car since the 80s in a station wagon.
Aaron was tired from the travel.

All day, every day.

Emily got to have a sleepover with Grandma and one of her cousins. These 2 had a blast and even snuck in an extra sleepover night. The boys also had a sleepover night with Grandma and one of their cousins.

Snowbird in June

Mom is in town for a visit and to watch the kids while I go to San Diego for work. Before I head out, we went and had some fun playing in the mountains. We went up to Snowbird and enjoyed their summer mountain fun. They have a great mountain coaster, swing zipline thing, vertical drop (bungee jump without the bungee but rather a rock climbing belay), and a gondola up to the top of the mountain. It was great day up in the mountains together.

Visiting Grandma

We spent last weekend visiting Chicago and Wisconsin. We started off visiting Grandma & Mike up in Cedarburg. We had a great time eating, chilling, working in the woods, and just catching up.
Only at Grandma's house do you get root beer floats for breakfast!
Aaron thought it was hilarious to be sharing a seat with Olivia while he at his breakfast tostadas.

Kyle & Emily visit Grandma

Kyle & Emily had a wonderful time in Wisconsin with Grandma. This was the first time they got to go to Grandma's house without us. My mom picked the kids up at the airport in Chicago and brought them up to her house for a fun, active, busy week of Grandma fun. She took them to some fun Wisconsin places like Old World Wisconsin, made some delicious Grandma dinners, put them to work outside on the projects her and Mike were working on (Kyle & Emily LOVE lopping bushes and in the forest behind Grandma's house), but most of all made some great memories together. Thanks Mom for having this time with the kids!
