Aaron at 4

Four has been a great age for Aaron. He continues to be so full of life, character, and personality. 

During our walk in Umstead. What kid doesn't wear rain boots with dress socks and shorts? And always carry a big stick.

See that big deer in the distance in the middle of the path? Aaron and I saw that guy while running (Aaron was in the jogging stroller). That deer did not budge. He looked at us and just stared us down. We didn't go any closer because we didn't want to cause the deer to charge us or anything. Thankfully, he didn't follow us and we made it back home without incident. 

Aaron loves Kyle and Emily's old karate sparring gear.

Always be prepared, you never know when something may pop out of the screen and you have to spar.

Back to school time for Aaron. 4 year old class this year.

When you are 4, you may wake up each morning and put on a costume and wear it all day. And you may just be Ninja Yoda. And so you may just play some basketball as Ninja Yoda. No big deal. Love his personality.

Being 4

It's pretty rad being 4. You can climb up the fire pole at the children's museum.

You can have sushi lunch with Mommy (all Aaron's choice). 

You can go ice skating during the summer.

Boxes are loads of fun.

Aaron's 4th birthday has been a fun day and so very Aaron. He started the day waking up to a R2D2 balloon the size of him in his room. He was beyond excited. 

Then we went to breakfast, had donuts, and went to Touch a Truck. 

After Touch a Truck, we went back home for dinner and cake with our friends. Aaron got a Yoda jacket from Papa and Kari and he wouldn't take it off. He absolutely loves it. Aaron makes a good Yoda.

Aaron also had his little bed turned into a big kid bed with Star Wars bedding. 

Aaron likes having a roommate and has had both Kyle and Em share his room with him for a slumber party. 

Aaron's birthday at school

Aaron is turning 4! I'm not sure how it's been 4 years already. He had a little celebration at preschool for his day. We brought in some fruit and cupcakes to celebrate with his school friends. They sang to him, made him a card, and he even got to blow out some candles. Happy birthday baby!
