Beach

We made one last trip to the beach before school started up. Our friends joined us again and it was a blast. The kids play together beautifully.

Beach day

It was the perfect beach day today so we hit up Coronado beach, our favorite beach. Jeff was able to join us as well so everyone who wanted to got a chance to boogie board and surf. Aaron got in on the action this time.

Here was his first ride on the boogie board.


And after he got comfortable, here was his first ride alone on the board. The kid loved it. 

While Jeff was out boogie boarding with Kyle & Emily, I took Aaron on the surf board. We both sat on the board and rode some small waves in. He liked it for two waves and then decided that he was scared and that was that. No pictures of video though since I was holding onto Aaron.

Beach buddies

This week it has been incredibly warm here. So warm that there were multiple wild fires and school was even cancelled. The rest of the country has snow days, but in San Diego, we had a fire day. Luckily, we were luckily impacted where we live with the exception of air quality. Anyhow, we took the opportunity to hit the beach, surf and go swimming. After school, Haiden and her mom joined us at Coronado for some surfing and boogie boarding while we had a showing going on at our house.

After the dentist, we had planned to go the beach. Kyle & Emily had school, but we figured taking them out for the morning for their dentist appointment and then some beach fun would be in order. Our beach morning turned out to be beach day so they had a free day from school. Don't tell. :-) We had a blast soaking in the 90+ degree heat and hitting the waves on boogie boards and surf boards.
